    Harris Theater

The Harris Theater is located at 809 Liberty Avenue, in downtown Pittsburgh. For showtimes, call (412) 682-4111 or see the showtimes page. The Harris screens movies 7 days a week. Pittsburgh Filmmakers also operates two other theaters, the Melwood Screening Room and the Regent Square Theater.

The Harris seats 200 and, while owned by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, is operated by Pittsburgh Filmmakers. Located in the nationally and locally registered Penn-Liberty Historic District, the Harris Theater was the first in Pittsburgh to commercially show "art movies" until competition from other city theaters led to its conversion to an adult, pornographic movie house in the 1960s. Since 1995, the Harris has operated under its current guise.
